It is a real heart breaking news that today in
a Series of Bomb Blasts at Bangalore many people sacrificed their
lives just to the term "man is mortal". Responding to Today’s serial
Bomb Blasts in Bangalore, Please have the attached note of
precautions and Do’s and Don’ts that can be handy during the current
situation. We can reduce the damage that can occur due to terrorist
attacks by exercising some precautions and preventions.
I will certainly like to emphasize few points here. Can’t India
react to this like Americans did when the Al Qaeeda drove their
planes into the WTC. We all know last year two terror attacks shook
the world. The first was the series of Mumbai blast (200 killed,
1000 injured) and the second was Capture of two Israeli soldiers by
Lebanese militant group Hezbollah. The first one was against India (
A nation with world’s third largest armed force and a nuclear super
power country) and the second terror attack was against Israel ( a
comparatively less power, US backed country). India reacted to
Mumbai attack with hot criticism and little or No investigations but
Israel ……was all set to erase the tiny Lebanon from global map.
Terrorism also can not also be coined as religion specific. History
witnessed many cross religious terrorist groups (Muslim groups : Al-Quida,
Laskar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohhammad, Hizbul Muzahideen, Jewish &
Christian groups : Haganah, Irgun, Stern Gang, Iris Republic army,
Punjabi group like Bhindranwale, khalsa liberation front and of
course Hindu groups like LTTE, Bodo, ULFA, Naxalites )
While we agree that the root causes of terrorism need to be
addressed, views about who is right and who is wrong will not
provide any protection for our family members and children in a
terrorist attack. This is the world we live in now and whether we
like it or not, we had better get used to it.
Americans believe they have the rights to retaliate and bomb
Afghanistan, Iraq off the face of the map because the terrorists HQ
was based there, we Indians have to negotiate, talk, send peace
buses, and "build confidence" with the government across our border
who supports terrorists with money and explosives. Why India is so
defensive and when will the sun rise and we can see our country
being offensive too. Can't we have the ability to repeat the 1971
Bangladesh war again, of course this time with the western borders
of India. Can't our polite, peace loving PM become like Indira
Gandhi for a moment.
The world applauds how resilient we are in the face of our tragedy,
how quickly we go back to "normalcy". Ironically we ourselves
applaud our resilience. We also have to prove to the world that we
are RESILIENT.
So today few Bangaloreans died for just keep running the terrorism
wheel. It’s not the Government who should care for this. Now it’s a
duty of each one of us to help our security forces eradicate
terrorism from the country.
