Sri Jagannath Temple welcomes you to be a proud sponsor to an asset
that will serve Lord Jagannath in his day to day life. To minimize
derivation of revenue for miscellaneous expenditures from
construction account the asset sponsorships are invited. Every time
your sponsored asset serve the supreme lord, You will be remembered
at once. Graces and blessings will flow it’s way to you. Requesting
you to sponsor assemble life time assets for Lord Jagannath.
1. An UPS for electricity back up
: When ever current goes in the evening, The whole temple
environment plunges into dark. All the other temples in the area
remains lighted as they are on different phase line. Only Sri
Jagannath Temple remains pitch dark for around an hour. Our priests
have to lit a candle and console the deities. We request you to
please help the temple with an UPS and a battery that will support 4
lights ( 2 in front, 1 at deities desk, 1 at kitchen ) for at least
an hour.
2. Mats for Prasad Sevan : We
need few more thick clothed sitting mats of 1 foot width and of any
length. Required to sit on during Prasad sevan sessions. As of now
devotees are sitting on bare ground while having Prasad. Please
donate few sitting mats to the temple to ease devotees during Prasad
sevan.
3. A Bi Cycle : One simple heavy
duty cycle that can the priests, attendant & accountant of the
temple to commute frequently for all marketing purposes, reaching
venues for puja and rituals.
4. Shoe Stand Iron Rod Rack or Hook
: To prevent shoes from rain, being theft, inconvenience on the path
way, we request someone to please come forward and donate a shoe
stand as asset. It may not be a luxurious one, but should be a stand
up grill railing or rack type with hooks for hanging shoe bags. (
similar to any shoe stand you find at any south Indian temples ).
5. A Desktop Computer : Anyone
having an unused desktop computer in working condition, not using or
having plans to go for laptop, then please donate your desktop to
Temple. Temple office currently has on a decade old configured
computer that does not have a proper antivirus, a fair system
memory, lack of proper backup system, not reliable. As we are
approaching final stages of Temple construction, we are striving to
maintain our huge database of donations, contributions, assets,
finance, accounting and payments and credits records. Please help us
with a functional desktop computer. In return we will offer a life
membership voucher to you. So here is an opportunity to become a
life member by gifting your old desktop.
6. Hundi Boxes : To enhance
revenue generation across locale, we plan for keeping hundi boxes at
oriya hotels and with location wise volunteers. Please donate few
hundi boxes.
7. Bearing Miscellaneous Expenditure
: To help smoothen the temple day to day activities and let the
construction account be used only on construction heads, We request
devotees who can sponsor for any one or more of the other
unavoidable expenditures of the temple like Electricity bill,
monthly spending on flowers and garland, scent sticks, fruits, ghee
for lamp and other miscellaneous expenditures.
So with this lord Jagannath shows us many more opportunities to
justify our mysticism to him. This asset will serve the lord as a
