Let's every one of us contribute just once this year even though we
have donated before 2008. Those who have already contributed since
2008 January may not )
Dear
devotees, sad to say but true that Sri Jagannath Temple Bangalore is
under construction since last 8 years, but is still incomplete. The
deities are still being worshiped under a temporary shed without
even a door, just waiting for the day when a temple with at least a
minimum bench mark of amenities will be made available by their
devotees whom they have never compromised in blessings. Even though
we are more than 3 lakh Odia brothers and sisters here out of which
more than around seventy four thousands into IT profession, we are
still unable to gather enough revenue to finish this temple which
hardly counts to one thousandth of the original infrastructure at
Puri.
If
king "Indradyumna" would have been still alive, he could have
completed this temple in just less than a year with today's advanced
technology and facilities. Those days neither he had the luxury of
IT profession, sky touching salary, internet, cell phones, eye blink
speed transportation nor on line banking facilities, but still could
able to make a state of the art mega structure. Can't we make just
an economy class temple for the GOD who has blessed us with all the
very bests of Health, wealth, Property and Profession?
Dear
brothers and sisters, let's all swing into a massive drive across
door to door and hand to hand to gather revenue for this noble
cause. Let's swiftly blow a cool breeze of appeal across the ears of
all salaried brothers and sisters. This at least is quite easy and
can be done with almost no effort. Let's be innovative in this.
Please follow the following steps :
Step
1: Please gather email Ids of all Odia brothers and sisters from
your Outlook. In Outlook new mail window "To" section, type few
unique Odia surnames like "Mohanty", "Mohapatra", "Patnaik",
"Nayak", "Sahu", "Dash", "Jena", "Moharana", "Behera" and similar
ones, then press "Ctrl+K". Select their IDs. Believe me they all are
32 carat pure Odias. You can be innovative too in getting a huge
collection of all other surnamed people.
Step
2 : Send them just the following mail requesting for contribution
towards Sri Jagannath Temple Construction. This is a draft mail
snippet, If you wish you can also modify of your own and make it
more touchy.

There
is a great news for all of us. An exact replica of Puri Sri
Jagannath temple is being constructed at Agara Circle, HSR Lay out,
Bangalore. The temple is almost 85% complete and temple trust is
struggling day and night to complete the temple before this year
Rath Yatra. Only huddle to them is a severe acute revenue shortage.
Let's come together and help them finish this task at the earliest.
Let's gift Bangaloreans a marvelous piece of arts and sculpture of
Orissa, let's be a lucky and proud contributor to this noble cause.
Let's all join the drive in making an Orissa far from Orissa. Let's
demonstrate the world a monument that justifies the richness of our
culture.
I
being your another beloved odia co-worker, personally requesting you
to contribute this noble venture just once with Rs.1000. You can
have a crossed "A/C payee" cheque only in favor of "Sri Jagannath
Temple trust, Bangalore". Once we all are ready with our cheques, We
will call some one from Sri Jagannath Temple trust to come once
during beyond office hour, collect the cheques and provide receipts
to all. We will also ask the visiting temple trustee to share with
us their sweet and sour experiences in this project, in order to
find if we too can be the lucky ones to get accompanied with them.
Let's all of us contribute just once and be a memorable icon for
generations to come.

can inform the temple trust to be our guest some day, come, collect
the cheques and provide receipts. It's my sincere request that we
all must add a pinch of revenue to their shortage.

Step
3: Once your colleagues are interested, please Personally follow up
with them to ensure they have all kept their cheques ready. Then
inform us and one among us will come some day after 5 PM in the
evening and will collect cheques from them or from you and provide
receipts for all. Then and there they will get the receipts directly
from me or you collect the rest of the counter receipts and hand
over to respective people.
If
some one is absent on that particular day please collect the cheques
from then earlier and I will take it from you and provide receipt.
We will give second preference to cash. If some one is interested in
accounts transfer please collect their email IDs and send to us. We
will inform them about Sri Jagannath Temple bank Account details for
online transfer.
