Jaya Jagannath,
Sri Jagannath Culture has
many things still known little to the outer world. The more we go
antique, collect artifacts and discover it, the in depth we learn
about great Sri Jagannath culture. Further the more we learn and let
all gain knowledge of, the longer our culture survive across
generations and decades.
Yesterday the 22nd of September was secretly celebrated as Gupta
Gundicha Jatra at Sri Jagannath Temple, Puri. As per Sri Jagannath
Culture, Goddess Laxmi in an appearance of Durga Madhaba rides a
Palanquin in a colorful procession to Dola Mandapa Sahi. There she
visits Narayani Temple. Gets a grand worship and returns to Sri
mandira in the evening. This ritual although seems to just one among
the others, but has quite a justified mythological significance.
This celebration reveals the correlations of Goddess Laxmi with Devi
Durga.
In this festive season, Nilachakra team wishes you a memorable week
long colorful festivity carnival. Jaya Jagannath.
Regards
Team Nilachakra
