No charges for use of ATMs for cash
withdrawal and balance enquiry ( from April 1st ):
Reserve
Bank of India Chairman and Chief Executive Officer have combinely
released a press release to waive off all charges for use of ATMs for
cash withdrawal and balance enquiry transactions.
Implementing a bilateral or multilateral Inter Bank ATM network
technologies, ATMs are now able to delivery an optimized platform for
large volume of customers within consumer reach.
Thus now the customer will not be levied any charge under any other
head and ATM service will be totally free. However the charge of
Rs.20/- indicated will be all inclusive for all other transactions
except with drawl and balance enquiry and more over the banks can have
privileges of reimbursing the same too.
