Dear
brothers and sisters, out of your 48 hours of week end stretch, we
request you to please spend just 1 hour for Sri Jagannath Temple.
Just 1 hour per week from your precious busy schedule will of course
add a great value to our momentum of temple construction.
Responding to the high
level of interest among so many of our volunteers in corporate and
Door to Door campaigning, we thought to put forward few guide lines
on this. First of all a big back pat to all volunteers for finding
time and interest in volunteering. We have formalized few norms for
corporate and door to door campaign for collecting contributions for
Sri Jagannath Temple Construction
Thumb Rule :
During door to door and Corporate
campaigns, We will only prefer crossed "A/c payee" Cheques in favor
of "Sri Jagannath Temple Trust, Bangalore", signed, with name and
cell number of payee at the back of the cheque. Donation in the form
of crossed "A/C Payee" Cheques leaves no chance of and suspicion or
second thought. Cash will be our second preference of acceptance.
Norms to be followed
during Corporate campaign:
1. First and foremost
point is we will do this social work only beyond office hours (
Let's be honest to our job ).
2. All brothers and
sisters who are working in any companies located at Electronic city
should keep their cheques ready contact Mr. Pravatranjan Jena at

working at While field and ITPL area should contact me Siba Ram

3. Me and Pravat bhai will
collect all inputs and group them company wise. Then we will inform
you one particular date, come down to your company and receive
cheques from all and provide receipts.
4. Then we will send a
confirmation mail to you all CCing to temple president and
accountant that this amount is submitted and accounted with.
Norms to be followed
during Door To Door campaign:
1. Let's have groups of
max 4 volunteers per group to cover max 100 houses. It should be
only on Week ends ( Saturday & Sunday ). One among the four persons
should be the lead and will be in charge of the receipt book. He
will be responsible for the whole event in his locality. Start
around 8 AM in the morning on Saturday or Sunday and try winding up
by 10 AM. Thus you won't feel exhausted with the work and will also
help maintaining consistency every time.
2. We will keep a daily
target of 10K only. The sooner we reach the target, we will wind up
our door to door campaign for that day. Then we will come to a calm
place, recount the collection, the focal have to keep the amount or
cheques and sign on the note copy mentioning that he has collected
and kept this much amount as collection for this date. He has to
sign and hand over the copy to another person.
3. Along with the receipt
book please keep a note copy also, One page of the note copy to be
used for 1 particular day. Put the date on top and the name of the
people volunteering in the group. Mention Four columns for Name,
Email ID, Cell number, and Remarks. A sample page is as attached.
