Jaya Jagannath,

Pleasant receivers of the divine complementary gift : Here comes the list of pioneer devotees who got enrolled with our Sri Jagannath Temple construction campaign as a life member during the tenure of Netra Utsav till Bahuda Yatra, thus becoming the pleasant receiver of a most celestial and rich traditional gift pack on behalf of Lord Jagannath.

Ingredients of Complementary Gift Sets :

1. Tahia - The holy turban of lord Jagannath ( A decorative piece of turban that is made out of thermo coil, cane, bamboo sticks, sola pith, flowers and colors ( minimal, red and zinc, are used ) :A tiny piece of flower twig from this is of outmost precious and is extremely difficult to gather once royal procession ( Pahandi Bije ) is over.

2. A tiny piece of the chariot wood : This comes from an extra piece of wood that s attached just at back of the stage on which the three deities seat. The purpose is to make use of the same during the ritual when Goddes Laxmi will be breaking it and later that wooden plank will be distributed among few very special devotees and sevayats.

3. A little of the Kapiketana Bana ( The flag ), this of course becomes the most wanted amenity that needs to be removed from the chariot and even as little as a thread of it also is of high demand by devotees.

4. Nirmalya : The dried pellets from the deity's prasadam, that s world famous with the name Abadha ( due to one of the features of not being served at any time )

5. Dhanda Tulasi : The well-known Indian Sacred Basil offer to the three deities as a part of his daily rituals.

6. Chariot Rope : Yes a tiny section of the Ratha Daudi from the first ever Rath Yatra becomes a priceless and precious amenity for devotees once it s tied with the divine chariot.
