Do's and Don'ts

Jaya Jagannath,
Tomorrow being Rath Yatra, we are looking for dynamic volunteers for
the show. We will have a short discussion over positioning of
volunteers across, a little bit of fire fighting mock exercise and a
quick overview of signaling using blow whistles. We have couple of
other on spot urgent stuffs also to be discussed. Please come to the
temple premises by 11 AM tomorrow. Please call Siba Ram Baral at
9845760848 in case of any relevence.
Apart from that, it's for every one's attention,
please care for the following.
1. Apply leave for tomorrow
: Rath Yatra puja and rituals will start by 11 AM. Sri Jagannath
Temple Trust welcomes all devotees to come and participate with this
charming event. Please take a leave tomorrow and join the show.
2.
Email spreads : Please spread the news of Rath Yatra
Celebrations to every one in your friend circle, interested colleagues
and relatives. Let us ensure no one misses this celebration due to
lack of awareness.
3. Word of mouth : Apart from emails please spread the news of
Rath Yatra thru word of mouth to each and every friends and also have
a last minute confirmation that their presence in the celebration is
assured.
4. Calls and SMSs : Please call or SMS to our closed special
ones, friends and relatives to join us during Rath Yatra celebration.
Let us have a date with Jagatara Natha Lord Jagannath tomorrow along
with all our kiths and kins.
5. Friendly reminders : Mails or words of mouth are not enough
to incite someone unless we follow with reminders. Please follow up
people to ensure their presence.
6. Precaution : Please be aware of what you may carry
and what not. You shouldn’t be troubled due to some items of no
urgency or importance. Be aware of Pick pockets, shoe lifters, cell
phone & camera stealers : Let us not come with precious shoes and
loaded violets or vanity bags. Please avoid keeping a hefty violet
with lot of cards, currency notes or useful information. Be careful
about your cell phone, cameras and other electronic gadgets.
7. Dress code for devotees : We appreciate a cute well dressed
traditional ethnic outfit on Rath Yatra. Girls are requested not to
put on gorgeous or indecent cloths, costly ornaments on that day.
8. Bhajan collection for Nine days : we are planning to play
all famous hit bhajans of Lord Jagannath during this festival tenure
and singers special per day during nine days of celebration. We are
planning to play each day a collection of all super hits of Bhikari
Bala, Sikandar Alam, Mohammed Aziz, Arabinda Muduli, Akshaya Mohanty,
Anuradha Podwal, Namita Agarwal, Chita Jena, Subhas Das, Basanta Patra,
Nimai Harichandan, Pinaki Nayak, Sarita Dash, Swapna Abasti, Shakti
Mishra, Pankaj Jal and so many others. We requesyt you if you have any
collections of any of the above singers, then please fire it on a CD
and donate to Sri Jagannath Temple.
