Professionals. Named after the omnipotent, omnipresent and
omniscient deity of the Universe, Lord Sri Jagannath, the
Sri Jagannath Cricket club is
now a sky scrapping cricket hot spot among BangalOrians. Governed by
a set of well equipped disciplinary ethics under active care of
extremely potential and professional governing body, it is a full
member system with Tournament and friendly routine match status.
The Sri Jagannath Cricket club is currently ranked among the top
cricketing bodies by the leading cricket teams across Bangalore. As
of date, the Sri Jagannath cricket club bears memories of 162
friendly matches and 10 tournaments with more than 22 different sets
of opponent teams from across length and breadth of Bangalore,
winning a total of 132 matches out of them, losing 27 and drawing 2
of its games, with 1 match ending in no results.
SJCC has a relatively better
record in tournaments and challenge matches, winning over 81% of
matches played. At present the team has a contingent of around 50
plus cricketers with more than 30 being all-rounder. Coordinated by
Siba Ram Baral, SJCC team is being captained by another extremely
talented All rounder Mr. Sanjay in all forms of the game and co
associated by vice Captain Manash Dhal.
Cricket has become synonymous with the
identity of being an Indian sports enthusiast and team SJCC are not
different to it. they are so deeply influenced with the aura of
Cricket-stars whose glory have triggered along with 1.3 billion
Indians crazy about it that it is no more an unashamedly colonial
game but it has become a 'religion'. Many People just see wonders
happen, some even wonder what happened, but SJCC stand behind the
