Jai Jagannath,

Dear Bangalore –Oriyans, next time you pass by Agara circle on Sarjapur road, wish you won't forget to halt for a while and notice Sri Jagannath temple, Bangalore getting marvelously carved and wonderfully stone scripted with it's culture-traditional attire. The look of resemblance with the holiest temple of world Hinduism Sri Jagannath Temple, Puri. For thousands of years ahead this temple at Bangalore will be the heart of all non residential oriyans here to endlessly thrust the essence of universal love & affection, brotherhood, global unity, cultural awareness, traditional & rituals spirits under it's massive blue eight metal (asta-dhatu) alloy wheel"Nila Chakra" that symbolizes the mark of "Sri Jagannath Sanskriti" and thuswill no longer be called as another temple at a city corner but will be ever known as the back bone to all Oriya brothers and sisters who resides at Bangalore and a pilgrimage to the contemporary Oriya civilization. Our dreamtemple is just a mile stone away from completion. The count down has started for the day will golden mark the history book.

Sri Jagannath Temple, Bangalore will definitely win the hearts of not only Oriyans around, but also of people from all streams beyond the edges of casts and races, colors and religions, language bars and cultural diversities.

Just image the days when your own Sri. Jagannath temple will witness a global reputation of a land mark in strategic cultural establishment in Bangalore with that shining white huge 100 feet high massive temple, Marble laden steps, Lions guarding the main gate, Bells hanging around, Six lateral temples of various GODs around in the same premises, Huge rush of devotees around, those handsome & smart Oriya gentlemen, Beautiful girls and charming brides in Sarees and of course hundreds of young hearts meeting & beating together, praying to the lord, chanting slokas and piping into the eyes of Lord Jagannath, oaths an promises following to events of engagements and Marriages in temple premises, kids following with naming rituals and twenty first day ceremonies, those satya narayan pujas, Prasad sevan eat outs, vehicle pujas, time to time cultural celebrations and the most awaited one "Rath Yatra" gratifying and heart warming each and every Oriya devotees every year. Believe me here at Bangalore we will build up a true Orissa away from Orissa.

At this phase of construction although we are multiplied with a well organized administration, transparent work culture, global assistance and support, brilliant plans, well strategized processes and streamlined discipline, but we are still facing the biggest challenge of shortage of funding.
