Padmashree honorable Sri. Sudarshan Sahoo established an art and Crafts Village at the Temple City of Orissa. His achievements started with stone carving at tender age of 13 continued with Carving the anecdotes of Load Buddha at Dhauli Peace Pagoda which eventually resulted into a longterm relationship with Japan Buddha Sangha, Carved Buddha Reliefs at Takamori, Japan, Established Sudarshan Crafts Museum at Puri and BBSR, Decorated Atami Peace pagoda, japan with stone statues of Lord Buddha, Visited England Being invited by the Buddha Sangha, London to carve Jatak Tales at Miltonkeynes Buddhist Pagoda, Set up a Buddha temple inside the Sudershan Craftsuseum, with Gold plated wood carvings, Recreated the Murals of Buddha in stone and statues in fibre hlass at Darjeeling Peace Pagoda, Created the statues of Buddha in fibre glass for Wardha Peace Pagoda which was inaugurated by the Hon'ble President of India, Exterior decoration of hanao-kayama Peace Pagoda, japan with Stone Buddhist Murals, Made gold plated fib
re glass statues of Buddha for monasteries located in new delhi and Vaishali, Bihar and also Carved Monumental Gate 36' x 36' at barunei, Orissa.
