Sri Jagannath Temple construction updates ( Attached today’s construction Snap * )

There are couple of interesting updates from Sri Jagannath Temple, Bangalore. The temple has started carving thru it’s final phase of construction decently obtaining it’s principal architectural outline. This temple industry is witnessing the upper pyramidal tapering portion being concreted. This is the most precious part of temple as it will be covering a dark chamber or cella for the reception of the divine symbol called as Garbha Gruha. The whole structure now resembles a perfect replica of Sri Jagannath Temple Puri.

This temple on earth will stand upright for centuries to come and will quietly whisper the tales of those brave men fought against all difficulties with their will power and gifted Lord Jagannath a spectacular piece of architecture on earth as his shrine. Sitting on it’s Baisi Pahacha our future generations will be proud of each of us finding our names carved on the walls and steps, remembering our courage and accomplishments.

Let’s each one of us spend just a moment out of our busy schedules and have a work out session to campaign for generating revenue towards timely completion the final stage of this massive project. Let’s join hands together to plan out all possible ways of revenue generation for completion of the temple. Let us get this temple completed as early as possible. Let lord Jagannath bless all of us achieve our goals smoothly.

We are not far from our dreams. We are coming closure to unveil a curvilinear temple crowned atop by a eight spooked Ashta dhatu sacrosanct wheel of Vishnu, the "Nilachakra" and below it will be pleasant temple tower built on a raised platform. Rising above the inner sanctum will be the Garvagruha where the deities will reside. The pyramidal roofs of adjoining temples will be rising in steps towards the tower like a ridge of mountain peaks. A magnificent sixteen-sided monolithic pillars guarded by two lions will sit in front of the main gate and will be worshiped as Garuda Stambha.

* Thanks to Abhishek Ransingh for sincerely and responsively taking snaps of Sri Jagannath temple this morning despite a chilling raining climate.

Let’s get our dreams woven and our emotions tailored to make it a reality. Jaya Jagannath.
