In a rapidly westernizing civilization, today’s youth…. The ambassadors of extreme modern society are acutely contaminated with an improper protocol, thus disconnected far from minimum proficiency benchmark of cultural etiquette. Today Customs, cultural values, rituals and religious festivals are losing their identity. A bulk of the society runs behind westernization and remaining small chunk strive to sustain with their socio cultural sanctity. A threat treatment preventionary measure would be to constantly serve the society with essence and fragrance of our culture and custom. Lord Jagannath and Sri Jagannath culture being indigenous to our motherland Odisha, each and every individual Odia shares primary responsibilities of preserving, spreading and protecting the core values of our culture for next generations to benefit from. If analyzed from a bird's eye view, three entities can influence or impact these attributes ( Authorities concerned, communication and broadcasting media and every individual )

Authorities concerned ( Temple trust administration, Sevayats and Government ) : If a temple is an Industry, then divine is the finished good and devotees are the customers. So to ensure matured customer satisfaction in a temple industry, all relevant key process indexes of CRM must be compliant with.

. Govt. should ensure pilgrimage be hassle free with measures to liberalize transportation policies. Road, rail, heli and air connectivity to the pilgrimage city should be well in place. Govt. should declare pilgrimage cities with special status among classification of cities.

• Temple authority and administration should take utmost care for devotees convenience from the moment a devotee steps in till he steps out of the entrance arch.

• In order to maintain a descent respectful image Pujaris, sevayats and priests should always be courteous, polite, disciplined, and well mannered. Never use slang language on devotees and should refrain from cheating the tourists too. Authorities should take intense corrective measures to prevent all such stuff.

• All expenditures and offerings should align to a stipulated rate chart maintained at clear display for devotee’s reference. Deviations to such guidelines should be responded with disciplinary actions. A full scale Call centre to address all grievances to ensure an optimum devotee satisfaction curve.

• Adequate arrangements should be taken to maintain and sustain optimized cleanliness & hygiene in temple the premises especially during worse climatic conditions.
