When we were thinking of
18 steel plants, 7 ports, IIT, world class universities, IT
companies, Special Economic Zones, several thermal power stations,
massive developments in railways, transport, education, agriculture,
economy, certainly we had forgotten the enemies of our state in
this. They too to make their existence realized, planned something
which made our hairs stand still. Orissa witnessed a cowardly yet
brutal act of crime on the 23rd of August.
Vedanta Kesari Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati
( a supreme saint who
was of Sri. Adi Sankaracharya cadre ) was killed at point blank
range at his ashram at Jalespata, Kandhamal district, while
performing Janmastami prayers. 22 bullets of AK 47 along with a
note “to suffer if prevent Hindus from converting to Christianity”,
that stole the lives of him along with five of his colleagues. His
extraordinary efforts had caused lakhs of converted Christian
tribals to return to the Hindu fold. He was actively involved in the
protection of tribal dharma from aggressive Christian evangelists in
the state's tribal belt since 1966. A man who had in a very noble
and saintly fashion raised the downtrodden and long forgotten
populace of Kandhamal from ignominy to a state of recognition,
pride, and self-sufficiency. He had constructed ten Sri Jagannath
Temples at Kandhamal and was organizing Rath Yatra there too. His

Let’s not keep quite on such brutal act of Christian missionaries in
India. Please sign at the below mentioned online petition that will

A Request : As an act of revenge we shouldn’t kill the innocent
converted Christian tribal people. At last they are our own brothers
and sisters. But at the same time let’s all protest on killing of
Vedanta Kesari Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati. Let’s ensure that we
protect and preserve the essence of our religion. Let’s ensure in
future we won’t let happen even a single incident like graham stains
or Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati. Jai Jagannath.
