Jaya
Jagannath,
Sri
Jagannath Temple proudly announces to all devotees who so ever will
be enrolling us as a life member towards Sri Jagannath Temple during
the divine period of Netra Utsav, Rath Yatra till Bahuda Yatra, will
be the pleasant receiver of a most celestial and rich traditional
gift pack on behalf of Lord Jagannath.
Imagine if someone among our ancestors would have contributed to
Puri Jagannath Temple Construction, and his name would be found
carved on the wall of Puri Jagannath Temple, how prideful it would
be for us to find our ancestor’s name on Puri Temple wall. Here is
just another similar opportunity. Let’s avail it.
We invite all brothers and sisters to be a pioneer life member of
Sri Jagannath Temple during the first ever Rath Yatra duration. This
is a once in life time opportunity for you to be recognized like a
man of the match at Sri. Jagannath Temple Bangalore. A patron life
member for ever. A real life man for a noble project. An icon of
remembrance for generations to come. Let's make our names carved on
the wall of fame in the Temple for ever. Let's be the men of
appreciation to a noble mission.
Complementary Gifts for our prestigious Life Members includes :
1. Tahia - the divine turban of lord Jagannath ( A decorative piece
of turban that is made out of thermo coil, cane, bamboo sticks, sola
pith, flowers and colors ( minimal, red and zinc, are used ) :A tiny
piece of flower twig from this is of outmost precious and is
extremely difficult to gather once royal procession ( Pahandi Bije )
is over.
2. A tiny piece of the chariot wood, this comes from an extra piece
of wood that’s attached just at back of the stage on which the three
deities seat. The purpose is to make use of the same during the
ritual when Goddes Laxmi will be breaking it and later that wooden
plank will be distributed among few very special devotees and
sevayats.
3. A little of the Patitapabana Bana ( The flag ), this of course
becomes the most wanted amenity that needs to be removed from the
chariot and even as little as a thread of it also is of high demand
by devotees.
4. Nirmalya, the dried pellets from the deity’s prasadam, that’s
world famous with the name Abadha ( due to one of the features of
not being served at any time )
5. Dhanda Tulasi : The well-known Indian Sacred Basil offer to the
three deities as a part of his daily rituals.
6. Chariot Rope : Yes a tiny section of the Ratha Daudi becomes a
priceless and precious amenity for devotees once it’s tied with the
divine chariot.
So let’s be among those few lucky ones to avail this opportunity.
Let's be a life member to Sri Jagannath Temple at Bangalore and thus
architect a cute little miniature Orissa out here. Let's gift our
loving Karnataka residents, a wonderful piece of creativity. Let's
show the world the richness of our culture and tradition. Let’s be a
