A small Story :

A father had a family of sons who were perpetually quarreling among themselves. When he failed to heal their disputes by his exhortations, he determined to give them a practical illustration of the evils of disunion; and for this purpose he one day
told them to bring him a bundle of sticks. When they had done so, he placed the faggot into the hands of each of them in
succession, and ordered them to break it in pieces. They tried with all their strength, and were not able to do it.

He next opened the faggot, took the sticks separately, one by one, and again put them into his sons' hands, upon which they broke them easily. He then addressed them in these words: "My sons, if you are of one mind, and unite to assist each other, you
will be as this faggot, uninjured by all the attempts of your enemies; but if you are divided among yourselves, you will be
broken as easily as these sticks."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Regarding Unity what other's say :

Mr. Manoj Kumar Panigrahy ( Then with L & T ) Says : People are more important than any process. Good people with a good process will outperform good people with no process every time. We must act in a united way for the upliftment of our homeland. Then no longer our state will be treated as the deprived state incomparable to other states. As Mahatma Gandhi rightly suggests - “Unity to be real must stand the severest strain without breaking.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mr. Jagannath Ojha ( Then with Wipro ) Says : I found it quite good and it is really for a good cause for our Odia people who feel at home when they are really away from their home land. hats off to the efforts of the founders

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Mr. Samir Soumyaranjan Bihari ( Then with Infosys ) Says : It's a good step to unite all Odias and to do the things of which we are capable.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Mr. Amit Patnaik Says : Miles away from home, I feel that we must stand united to serve a common goal- the development of our homeland.

Dear friend.... I feel it's high time we all should unite and maintain transparency among us as far as our sustainability is concerned. We all should hook to a  virtual network of all Odias not just  to convey, communicate and acknowledge our  views, but also to favor and help the needy people among us. This will also help in judgment and planning activities.

I have come up with a plan of maintaining a virtual network of all non residential Odias thru net so that rather than only one or few helping all for career, job search or sharing our views …we all can do together …. Thus providing enhanced and better service and help …This website is a step ahead in this campaign of getting all together. I have created three web sites which dynamically gets updated with all relevent information that can bind us together.

Advantages of this drive : We all will be a part of a virtual network ( sharing information, Opinions, suggestions, views, job openings and even funs / jokes ). We can always help people who are in need for career development in a more better team oriented manner. Information can pass and circulate without being contaminated or tampered, just to avoid landing in trouble. We can reach people and help them out in all of their career endeavors….And lots more ….Please cooperate with me and send this to all the Odia Guys you know ….

To be frank ... this is a small initiation of making all Odia People together so that we can get better communicated, informed and conveyed at right times instantly ... This will make us work as a team...

This will give a clear in site of our state ..It will cover a section dedicated to our Culture, Our ethics, Our Supreme GOD Lord Jagannath, Information, news and views of Odisha... and along with that it will be having a career section which will not only help Odia People get assistance in Career moves but also will solve the same purpose for all ......Apart from this I have thought of incorporating link for some useful sites with common daily importance.

My main objective is to make all Odia People be virtually together in this and thus form a network ...Let's hold each other's hand and march ahead. Let's progress and develop to show the World that Our state Odisha can no more be identified or referred by " Super cyclone, hunger deaths of Kalahandi and nor even be referred by the incident of Graham Satins and Dara singh " rather be referred as  " Odisha is a state of Brave hearts, Supreme brains, Helping Hands, loving hearts, Honest Souls and Dedicated and Respected Personalities

Let's prove that we can make a difference and we can define something better than the best ...

A relevant story : Once upon a time, there was a flock of doves that flew in search of food led by their king. One day, they had flown a long distance and were very tired. The dove king encouraged them to fly a little further. The smallest dove picked up speed and found some rice scattered beneath a banyan tree. So all the doves landed and began to eat. Suddenly a net fell over them and they were all trapped. They saw a hunter approaching carrying a huge club. The doves desperately fluttered their wings trying to get out, but to no avail. The king had an idea. He advised all the doves to fly up together carrying the net. He said that there was strength in unity.

Each dove picked up a portion of the net and together they flew off carrying the net with them. The hunter looked up in astonishment. He tried to follow them, but they were flying high over hills and valleys. They flew to a hill near a city of temples where there lived a mouse who could help them. He was a faithful friend of the dove king. When the mouse heard the loud noise of their approach, he went into hiding. The dove king gently called out to him and then the mouse was happy to see him. The dove king explained that they had been caught in a trap and needed the mouse’s help to gnaw at the net with his teeth and set them free.  The mouse agreed saying that he would set the king free first. The king insisted that he first free his subjects and the king last. The mouse understood the king’s feelings and completed with his wishes. He began to cut the net and one by one all the doves were freed including the dove king. They all thanked the mouse and flew away together, united in their strength.
