 Responding to e-mail : Distinctive appearance of Lord Jagannath, He wrote :

When NALCO was on the verge of privatization Once day Lord Jagannath told me in dreams "Kana soechha Nalco bikree hoijiba para. Ja aa lagijaa au bandh karidey."/ " why you are sleeping. go and stop the Nalco privatization". I was then working as Chief Manager ( elect) at Corporate office in Bhubaneswar and hardly was involved in any political activities through the Officer's association. I address the gate meeting and could convenience all and All the people applauded and took a vow to fight the Center's decision to privatize Nalco. The workers and officers made me President of Officer's association and also Chairman of Nalco movement consisting of 3 off assn and 23 worker's union. Every body was drawing strength from me where as i was drawing strength from Lord jagannath Jee. This is a distinctive personal appearance of Lord Jagannath jee, i can ever forget. Nalco also sanctioned Rs 2 Crore for Sri Jagannath temple, Anand Bazar Renovation. This is also a distinctive appearance of Lord Jagannath Jee. The work is in progress and you may have a look at it when you come to Puri. Your posting encouraged me to write about my personal experience for the benefit of your readers. Mr. Siba Ram Baral I have a huge list of personal experiences about graces and blessings of Lord Jagannath. I have ever been taken care of, been saved and rescued, helped and even my problems have instantly been blown out from my vicinity thru out my life. I am always obliged and on debt with my Kalia thakura.
  • I have never spent money in buying text books nor have spent even an hour in studying. Just hardly have attended any classes during academics too. Yes... but before starting with my exam papers I just whisper and chant "Jaya Jagannath". That's it. All thru out my career I have got Distinction. Never scored below distinction.
  • During my IT profession career, I have seen two recessions ( once during Twin tower attack and the other during Morgan stanley and Lehman brother bankruptcy ), But have never seen this impacting my profession. I have worked with IBM, Honeywell, GE, SAP and Infosys .... during my IT Tenure.
  • I have heard of long queues during interviews, rejections, malfunctioning, partiality, favoring glees, resume not sort listed and such stuff in life. I have never experienced so. For any company when and where I wanted, I have just sent my resume once. That's all. Got call instantly, just a simple selection formality, never seen any competitor candidate during interviews, been offered more than my expectations and have enjoyed the job till the last date and even left the job at my own wish for any small things that I have not liked.
  • Apart from my personal and professional life, I am involved in my social activities in and around my area. I am member to many social organizations, Welfare associations, clubs, NGOs apart from being one among the trustees to Sri Jagannath Temple Bangalore. During all such engagements of course many people appreciate my nature and flavor of work, but few left behind do not like my involvement and start planning schemes to put me in trouble. It is all due to Lord Jagannath's grace that I have never been cornered in any such things. When ever and where ever I have seen my enemies closing in, I have called Lord Jagannath for rescue. Some how or the other, I have been airlifted from all problems and dangers. Till dates my enemies have even not able to come close to me.
  • I mainly do not put my head into things which I don't like, but something if I take seriously....I start putting my head into it till I win over it. But every such adventure I do, I start with chanting Lord Jagannath and singing his nama and stuti. Every time I have succeed in every new thing that I have bet.
  • Sometimes I see things not happening as per my expectations. In profession, in Society and even in personal life too. And even I have kept quite as such things were out of my reach. I have just preyed lord Jagannath .... telling him my wish.... I have told ...."Hey..Prabhu....Emiti naheyi...Semiti heyithile Bhala heyi thaanta". That's it ... within few days I have seen things happening not only as per my expectations, but much more better than that too. Jaya Jagannath.
  • I was counting on my health issues since childhood, but due to grace of lord jagannath I came out of my "Saani dasa" fit and fine. 
  • Even though I am a rash driver, I had always narrowly escaped from any and every sure accidents in life. I took these things as lord's early warning messages lessons and am now driving carefully.

Ok, Now .... I am feeling breathless to spell out my secret trick. Do you all wish to know how I get myself bound to Lord Jagannath. Ok ... the answer is ..... Any time and all time ... I keep whispering "Dasa Abatara mantra" of Lord Jagannath. My perception is if Bhakta Salabega was only singing Dasa Abatara during plucking flower and Lord Jagannath could make him his best devotee, why can't me chant the same every time for ever and merge with the lotus feet. My formula is out of 24 hours a day, let us spend 8 hours for ourselves ( profession, career and everything, 8 hours to family and society, but most importantly another 8 precious hours in the service of supreme Lord Jagannath. In return he will care for all us and all our wishes for the next eight lives.

Dr. Kabi Prasad Mishra Further to this miraculous experience, my own mother was cured of Breast Cancer (we treated her at Madras when I was there working at the Apollo hospital) for 16 long years and died a totally peaceful, painless and natural death at the age of 93.She died in ten minutes with Jagannath's name and prasad on her lips on the 13th. of this month (Refer to my article on her in THE SAMAJ of the 22nd.Jan.).My brother, Shri R.N.Mishra, was the temple administrator of Puri Jagannath temple and we all prayed for my mother's recovery at that time, which was of course granted by the Lord. I was also busy for the construction work of our Jagannath temple at Chennai at that time (DAKSHINA KSHETRA).

We're with him now in San Jose, California for his wife's delivery of their first baby. His cure was an unbelievable miracle due to the Grace of Lord Jagannath and Shirdi Sai Baba.

I am also fortunate to b the Chief Guest at the Installation Ceremony of Lord Jagannath at the Fremont temple here on the 6th. March. Mr. Subhas Ron I am a Kannadiga by birth but I was in Gujarat for most part of my career and just before coming to Bangalore; was in Bhubaneswar for 3 years. I had to move to Bhubaneswar because my only son got admission in NIT Rourkela.( Now he is in US pursuing his masters in Columbia University New york) At that point of time; I was going through a personal crisis. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and she; unsure of her time left; wanted to be near her son. So I requested for transfer to Orissa. We got her operated in Mumbai and later moved to Bhubaneswar. Doctor had not fully cleared her as ' out of danger' and she was under observation. We had no one to turn to except Lord Jagannath. I left it to Him to take care of my wife and by the time we left Bhubaneswar my wife was declared as completely cured! It was indeed Lord Jagannath who took care of my wife.

My stay in Bhubaneswar was a memorable one for many reasons. One obviously for my wife was saved and another I loved the place because it is the most peaceful place with lovely &; intelligent people. Above all the cost of living is so very reasonable!! During our stay we visited Puri many times over as we used to visit Dwaraka during our stay at Jamnagar. I must say that after visiting these both places I always felt energized. I always feel that I should go to Puri at least once in a year.. but due to official exigencies; I could not make it in 2008.

I am thrilled to know that a temple of Lord Jagannath is being built in Bangalore and look forward to its completion. I have started getting your mails and I believe that it is God-send. I will do my best to raise funds to help complete the temple to the best of my ability as I know that this is the only way to repay Him.
